Website privacy
Updated 22 October 2026. This notice covers drkarensilva.com.au, the professional website of Dr Karen Silva in Noosaville. It does not describe the clinic's handling of patient records.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is loaded only if you select Accept analytics. It helps us understand page visits, device and browser information, approximate location and clicks on phone, WhatsApp and booking links. A click indicates interest; it does not confirm that a call, message or appointment was completed.
The website's custom contact events send only the contact channel, not your message, phone number or clinical information. Page URLs sent by our configuration exclude query strings. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled. Google may process analytics data on servers outside Australia.
Your analytics choice is saved in your browser's local storage. If accepted, Google Analytics can use cookies such as _ga. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the website footer. Declining keeps optional analytics off; withdrawing consent stops future collection and removes the site's accessible Analytics cookies. It does not automatically remove data already processed.

Hosting and external services
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages and uses Google Fonts. These providers receive technical request information, such as your IP address, when delivering their services. GitHub Pages may retain server logs. This technical delivery is separate from optional Analytics.
Booking, WhatsApp, Instagram and photography links lead to other services with their own privacy practices. Please avoid sending clinical or sensitive information through this website's social contact links. Ask the clinic how to share patient information securely.
